Contentment, smiles, playtime and don’t forget those Cheerios – that is what you’ll find in the nursery at Bethel Baptist Church. Your infant’s needs are our #1 priority. Relax and involve yourself in the services, knowing your children are being cared for in a loving and clean environment. Only authorized personnel have access to the nurseries.

The nursery is divided into three departments. Nursery One is birth to 6 months, Nursery Two is 6 months to 1 year and Nursery Three is for 1 to 2 years old who are able to walk. If you have a 3 or 4 year old, don’t worry; there’s Toddler Land for them.

For extra peace of mind, you are given a pager that will gently vibrate should your child need attention. This allows you to quietly slip out of the service without disturbance or embarrassment. Our nurseries are conveniently located near the main auditorium for your easy access, and if you are a nursing mother, we have a private area available that you may use to nurse your child.

Nurseries One and Two are furnished with a complete air exchange system allowing for replacement and circulation of fresh air every 20 minutes. Our nursery policies follow local hospital standards. Cribs, toys and changing tables are disinfected and workers use gloves when changing the children. Because sickness is so contagious, sick children (i.e. those who have a cough, runny nose, fever, rash, etc.) are not permitted into the nurseries.
